Ah. Summer. Gotta love it.

Huh. There was a concert (TMBG) which was really cool. What Joe would call my first real concert. They were great, and having only heard one of their albums did not detract at all.

That was Friday.

Then there was Saturday. I'm not sure what exactly I did until 6 or 7, but then we went to my aunt's house, ate dinner (have I mentioned how much I love chicken vesuvio?? Oooh!) Then we went to Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, which was really cool. They were great- it ended yesterday at Drury Lane.

Sunday- Church in the morning- 10 people in the whole place. Father Delion, Claire and I, Betsy and Brian (on the organ) up on the alter, and Mom, Nonnie, Nan and 2 others in the congregation.

Small even for St. Albans.

After that, we went to the Park Ridge Book Sale and lunch. Then we came home, and later went to the American English concert, which got rained out. But we had a lot of fun-- we played duck duck goose and tag and such in the pouring rain. We had a lot of fun. I like the rain. I am technically a member of the I love the rain ring, but I'm not sure I can make that appear... meh.

Then today- we went to The Great Indoors and Ikea. Pretty cool. I got a mirrior for the bedroom downstairs and a picture frame and read 50 pages of the Cat Who Walks Through Walls.

Good stuff. Now if John would just answer the phone...
