In Memory of Darryl Kile
Hm... St. Albans Day was today. Robin came, and Bob Johnson, the Lutheran pastor. That was nice.
Yesterday was Claire's birthday party- it went pretty well, all things considered. The famous waterfight went well, both of them. John was unexpectedly able to come, twice, which made me happy (call me predicable) and we walked around the block and generally were. John was either extrodinarily lucky, or really really good at playing invisible at parties, or both. :-) But I have to turn my phone down- while talking to Andrew I need to turn it down, and while talking to John I have to turn it up.
And it is better than a videogaming binge. I am tempted to start my AP homework.
I am very sad about the death of Darryl Kile. He was a pitcher for the Cardinals, and he unexpectedly died of apparently natural causes in his hotel room yesterday, so the game was called. He was supposed to pitch today, a game I am going to. I actually almost hope that the Cardinals win- they deserve it. This might be a no win situation, but also a no-lose- I'll be happy no matter who wins- either the Cubs win or the Cardinals do.
Oh well, a whole week. I will survive... I will. :-)
I think I'd better get off the internet before bells of people getting online drive me out of my mind... or Andrew's humming does it.
